Brandon Smith Esq.

Attorney Brandon Smith is a dedicated trial attorney at Moore Payne Law, committed to delivering exceptional representation to his clients. A native of Tampa, Florida, Brandon excelled academically and athletically at Sickles High School, participating in varsity basketball, baseball, and football while maintaining a 4.0 GPA and graduating with honors. He earned his B.A. in history, cum laude, from the University of South Florida. Brandon then relocated to Orlando to pursue his juris doctor at Florida A&M University College of Law, graduating cum laude and appearing repeatedly on the Dean’s List of Scholars.

Beginning his legal career defending insurance carriers and trucking companies, Brandon gained invaluable insights into their claim evaluation and defense strategies. In 2020, he transitioned to representing plaintiffs, joining the nation's largest injury law firm and focusing on personal injury cases. Within five years, Brandon secured over $40 million in settlements across state and federal courts and frequently tried cases.​

At Moore Payne Law, Brandon leverages over a decade of experience on both sides of the courtroom. His early efforts to minimize payouts for insurance companies have evolved into a determination to maximize compensation for his clients. Growing up, Brandon worked summers at his family's retirement community, Twin Lakes Lodge in Clearwater, Florida. There, he witnessed the importance of elder safety firsthand, which ignited his passion for advocating for the rights of the elderly and victims of negligence.​

An avid competitor, Brandon draws parallels between sports and the courtroom, embracing the challenges of litigation. He is dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for his clients, whether through negotiated settlements or victories at trial.

Brandon resides in Orlando with his wife and two children. In his free time, he enjoys family activities, traveling, golfing, woodworking, and coaching his children's youth sports teams.​
